Improvements to the TVS

We recently released several enhancements to the Transit Visualization System in hopes of making it even more useful and intuitive. So on your next visit to the TVS, look for:

• Map improvements: Now you can hide the legend, thereby enlarging the map viewing area. We've also re-worked the arrows at close zoom levels to make it easier to tell what direction buses run along a route. And now, if you enable a route that is off the screen, or if a bus is added to a route that is off the screen, a pop-up will let you know.
• Smarter on Smartphones: Riders with smartphones can now access an enhanced version of TVS Mobile featuring detailed maps, moving buses, and improved access to new announcements.
• TVS on your website: Transit agencies can now include a scaled-down version of the TVS on their own site. This embedded version lets transit agencies provide the TVS alongside other content of their choosing.
